The Project Coordinator plays a crucial role on site and reports directly to the Project Manager.

In this position, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and up to standard. Your main focus will be on safety, scheduling, quality, and managing project changes under the guidance of senior leadership.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting the Project Manager in ensuring project objectives are met
  • Collaborating on field reports and invoice processing
  • Adhering to health, safety, and environmental policies
  • Developing construction schedules and milestones
  • Managing contracts and budget analysis
  • Implementing quality control programs
  • Building relationships with clients and suppliers
  • Coordinating with subcontractors
  • Controlling documentation and purchasing materials

Requirements:

  • Degree or Diploma in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering Technology, or Electrical Engineering
  • 1-2 years of Project Coordination experience
  • Proficient in contract management, construction scheduling, and financial statements
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Experience with MS Office and JD Edwards
  • Valid Ontario "G" Driver's License
