Position Overview:

As an IT Project Manager, your primary responsibility will be to plan, execute, and finalize IT projects within established timelines and budgets. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and stakeholders, to ensure that project goals are achieved and aligned with the organization’s objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Planning: Create comprehensive project plans that outline scope, objectives, timelines, and resource needs. Ensure alignment with business objectives and stakeholder expectations.
  2. Execution & Monitoring: Supervise project execution, manage resources, track progress, and address any issues or risks that may arise. Ensure projects are completed on schedule, within scope, and on budget.
  3. Stakeholder Communication: Maintain transparent and consistent communication with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and changes. Facilitate meetings and manage stakeholder expectations effectively.
  4. Team Leadership: Inspire and guide project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. Assign tasks, set priorities, and offer guidance and support.
  5. Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and devise mitigation strategies. Proactively tackle challenges and adjust project plans as necessary.
  6. Quality Assurance: Ensure that deliverables meet quality standards and comply with organizational policies and best practices. Conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas for enhancement.
  7. Documentation: Maintain thorough project documentation, including plans, status reports, and post-project reviews. Ensure all documentation is accurate and current.

Qualifications:

  1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are highly desirable.
  2. Experience: At least 5 years of experience in IT project management, with a proven history of successfully delivering complex projects. Familiarity with Agile methodologies is a plus.

  2. Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  3. Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Trello).
  4. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
