About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Group Leader to join our team at NCCR RNA & Disease. As a Group Leader, you will be responsible for leading our Technology Solutions team and driving the growth and development of our IT services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership
    • Oversee multiple teams to provide support and accountability for IT-based design projects and hands-on implementations.
    • Coordinate with other Group Leaders and Team Leaders to resource and support team members.
  • Business Development
    • Grow our services directly with existing clients and new clients through proactive and reactive business development.
    • Develop new service offerings for our clients within your area of expertise.
  • Subject Matter Expertise
    • Act as a subject matter expert to the team and our clients.
    • Provide guidance and support to team members on technical matters.
  • Project Management
    • Manage select key and critical projects.
    • Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Mentorship and Training
    • Mentor and guide team members to develop their skills and knowledge.
    • Identify training plans and growth strategies for the Technology Services group.
  • Relationship Building
    • Build and foster relationships within our organization and externally that align with our corporate values.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • A 3-year college diploma or University level degree in a related field of study.
  • Active certifications with Cisco or other recognized industry standards considered an asset.
  • Knowledge and understanding of industrial networks, protocols, and practices considered an asset.
  • A minimum of 10 years' experience with direct management and supervision of others considered an asset.
