Job Title: Truck Driver

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team at Dryco Building Supplies. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a safe and secure environment for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
  • Load and unload goods, ensuring accurate and efficient handling
  • Communicate with central dispatch and relay information regarding delivery status and any issues
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
Requirements:
  • Air Brakes Endorsement
  • Class 3/3F/DF Licence (trailer truck, vehicles with more than 3 axles)
  • Valid driver's license
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
