Job Title: Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Truck Driver to join our team at Iron Horse Rentals Ltd. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a variety of heavy vehicles, including straight trucks and articulated trucks, to transport goods and materials across different routes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transportation: Operate trucks to transport goods and materials, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition, and perform routine maintenance tasks as needed.
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience as a Truck Driver, or equivalent experience.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a valid driver's license.
Working Conditions:

The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, handle heavy loads, and work in a physically demanding role. The ability to sit for extended periods and work in a variety of weather conditions is also required.
