About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Stock Supervisor to join our team at SVP Sports. As a key member of our retail store team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our inventory management system, ensuring that our stores are well-stocked and that our customers have an excellent shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of our inventory team, ensuring that stock levels are accurately recorded and that inventory is properly stored and maintained.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and train our sales staff, ensuring that they are knowledgeable about our products and provide excellent customer service.
  • Merchandise Management: Order and receive merchandise, authorize returns, and establish work schedules to ensure that our stores are well-stocked and that our customers have a wide range of products to choose from.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and maintain reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters, providing insights and recommendations to improve our business operations.
  • Customer Service: Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner, ensuring that our customers have an excellent shopping experience.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a retail store environment.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and strong organizational and time management skills.
