About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Branch Manager to lead our Western Canada operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for directing and controlling the branch location, ensuring policies and procedures are followed, and making recommendations to improve performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Management: Provide guidance, direction, and monitoring of internal staff to ensure departments are working effectively towards common goals.
- Sales Growth: Develop, coach, and motivate sales and support teams to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.
- Inventory Management: Maintain inventory levels at optimum to ensure efficient operations and customer satisfaction.
- Customer Satisfaction: Ensure customer satisfaction is maintained at the required level, as per the Branch Operational Scorecard.
- Strategic Planning: Participate in and recommend strategic and future management planning to drive business growth.
- Vendor Relations: Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure optimal supply chain management.
- Team Development: Develop and grow a high-performing team, including training and development programs.
- Operational Excellence: Ensure a safe and comfortable working environment, and maintain high standards of operational excellence.
Requirements:
- Education: High School Diploma required, College/University Diploma preferred (Business, Sales & Marketing, or Technical focus).
- Experience: Minimum 5-7 years of related experience, preferably in a Sales/Distribution environment, with previous management experience.
- Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
