Scope of the Position:

As a Branch Manager, you'll be responsible for directing, maintaining, and controlling the branch location. You'll monitor policies and procedures, make recommendations, and ensure daily performance objectives are met. You'll participate in establishing and maintaining branch goals and objectives, develop quality team members, and build a solid customer base.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance, direction, and monitoring of internal staff to ensure departments work effectively towards common goals.
  • Ensure all staff are properly trained for their roles and update training as required.
  • Grow sales through developing, coaching, and motivating sales and support teams.
  • Maintain inventory levels at optimal levels.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction meets the required Branch Operational Scorecard level.
  • Participate in customer calls for sales and technical support (if applicable).
  • Assist with Warehouse and physical plant planning.
  • Vendor relations and planning.
  • Strategic and future management planning.
  • Pricing Maintenance.
  • Participate in and/or recommend product training.
  • Solve customer/staff/company disputes.
  • Maintain and grow business.
  • Outside sales – develop key relationships with customers through frequent on-site visits.
  • Manage Inside Sales staff.
  • Manage administrative and CSR functions within the branch.
  • Determine sales projections for the fiscal year and track progress.
  • Conduct weekly sales meetings.
  • Resolve day-to-day personnel issues where management decisions are required.
  • Represent the Company to the local and industry community.
  • Other duties as required.

Education & Training:

  • High School Diploma required.
  • College/University Diploma required (Business, and/or Sales & Marketing, or Technical focus preferred).
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office required.

Experience:

  • Minimum 5-7 years of related experience, preferably in a Sales/Distribution environment. Previous Management experience required.
