We believe that together, we can make a difference and empower our doctors to make theirs. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Portfolio Liaison, Strategic Initiatives.
The JobThe Portfolio Liaison, Strategic Initiatives will lead and execute key portfolios to advance health system priorities as delegated by the Manager, Strategic Initiatives. This role requires strong engagement and collaboration with key partners, including physicians, healthcare providers, Doctors of BC staff, senior Ministry of Health, Health Authority executives, and other community agencies.
The successful candidate will develop and implement a strategy to execute these initiatives and programs, with a focus on advancing health system priorities. This will involve working closely with partners to identify opportunities for collaboration and developing a plan to execute these initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a strategy to execute key portfolios and advance health system priorities
- Lead and execute key portfolios, including the Cancer portfolio
- Collaborate with key partners, including physicians, healthcare providers, and community agencies
- Develop and implement a plan to execute initiatives and programs
- Monitor progress and ensure milestones are met
- Bachelor's or Master's degree and/or recognized professional designation in a related field
- Up to six years of progressive and related experience, or an equivalent level of related work experience in-lieu of post-secondary education
- Experience working within the cancer and/or mental health and substance use healthcare system is an asset
- Experience in quality improvement methodologies, collective impact, or facilitating networks is an asset
- Public engagement training, project management, and change management training and experience is an asset
