About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Support Specialist to join our team at Trimble. As a Product Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing technical support and advice to customers, sales representatives, and product managers on applications, product performance, installation, and critical topics.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Technical Support: Provide expert technical support and advice to customers, sales representatives, and product managers on applications, product performance, installation, and critical topics.
  2. Problem Resolution: Respond to customer inquiries and assist in resolving complex problems during installation phases of projects.
  3. Training and Development: Participate in the technical training of staff and clients in the use of company products.
  4. Field Support: Provide field product support, including operations support, installation of new systems, customer hardware/software training, problem solving, product trial/development support, sales demonstrations, and business trips.
  5. Product Enhancement: Participate occasionally in product technical reviews, impact assessments of new releases, and reviews of competitive activity and recommend product enhancements to engineering and sales staff.
  6. Customer Database Management: Responsible for maintaining a quality customer database.
Requirements
  1. Education: University degree in Geomatics, Geodesy, Surveying, Photogrammetry, Remote Sensing, Navigation, GIS, Geography, or related field.
  2. Communication Skills: Ability to describe complex technical facts in an understandable way.
  3. Travel: Willing to undertake business trips for training purposes.

In a hybrid role, you will work with your manager to establish a mutually agreeable schedule for your time working in the office based on the position and the business need. Typically hybrid positions are 1-3 days per week, or 20%-60% of the month in the office.
