  • Supervise Accountant, A/R, A/P, Payroll
  • Oversee the company's financial reporting strategy for internal and external reporting requirements for 3 legal entities.
  • Devise processes to ensure financial data is complete and appropriately captured and reconciled in the Company's ERP system.
  • Provide recommendations for procedural improvements. Work with ERP team to enhance systems
  • Create robust monthly, quarterly and annual statements, close financial processes and checklists.
  • Manage customer account balances and account statements including: receivables, credit memos, and deposits.
  • Responsible for all daily financial transactions, including but not limited to: Inventory, AP, AR, Bank Reconciliations, Billing, Payroll, HST, full cycle bookkeeping to the standards of Canadian Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises (ASPE).
  • Preparation of necessary audit documentation. Liaison with Auditors.
  • Dealing with other CRA matters as they arise
  • Establishes or recommends to management major economic strategies, objectives and policies for the company. Acts to link/align the major business functions to profitability, growth and cash flow.
  • Ensure compliance with record retention requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Holder of CPA designation in good standing.
  • Previous experience with ERP systems integration is preferred.
  • Experience with Odoo ERP is a plus.
  • Previous experiences in public accounting is preferred.
  • Ability to work in a self directed manner and lead a team.
  • Experience in or with a manufacturing environment
