Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Logistics Coordinator to manage our trucking operations at 2046361 Alberta Ltd.. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in logistics and dispatching, ensuring smooth operations and efficient communication.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 to 2 years in a similar role
Key Responsibilities
  • Verify the accuracy of completed time sheets, payroll, and other reports.
  • Ensure the optimal functioning of all equipment.
  • Maintain detailed work records and logs.
  • Organize warehouse and operational areas for efficiency.
  • Advise vehicle operators regarding traffic and other operational issues.
  • Assist in the maintenance of communication devices.
  • Coordinate with ships, aircraft, and other remote operations.
  • Dispatch personnel based on schedules and work orders.
  • Respond to emergency situations by dispatching personnel as needed.
  • Follow up on any issues related to work orders.
  • Monitor and track shipments effectively.
  • Possess knowledge of cross-border dispatching regulations and practices.
  • Understand highway trucking rules and regulations.
  • Record mileage, fuel consumption, repairs, and other expenses accurately.
