Key Responsibilities:
  • Transportation: Operate a straight or articulated truck to transport goods and materials, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the vehicle's condition, including tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
  • Logistics: Manage cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, ensuring accurate records and compliance with regulations.
  • Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
  • Safety: Ensure the safety and security of cargo, adhering to all relevant regulations and company policies.
Requirements:
  • Certifications: Possess a valid Driver's License (Class 1 or A) and any other required certifications.
  • Physical Demands: Be able to handle heavy loads, work in a physically demanding environment, and sit for extended periods.
  • Work Experience: Willingness to train and gain experience in the role.
