Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at Kaonke Trucking. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across various routes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Vehicle Operations
    • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
    • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle is in good working condition
    • Oversee all aspects of vehicle maintenance, including tire checks, brake inspections, and cold storage
  • Logistics and Coordination
    • Receive and relay information to central dispatch to ensure efficient route planning
    • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
    • Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize routes and reduce transit times
  • Certifications and Compliance
    • Hold a valid Class 1 or A driver's license
    • Maintain accurate driver logbooks and inspection reports
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant transportation regulations and laws
  • Support and Development
    • Participate in mentorship programs to support the development of new drivers
    • Collaborate with experienced drivers to share knowledge and best practices
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
    • Will train on company-specific procedures and equipment
  • Certifications and Licenses
    • Valid driver's license (Class 1 or A)
  • Language and Communication
    • Fluent in English
  • Work Environment
    • 40 hours per week
