About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Nodo Restaurant. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations and ensuring that our menu offerings are of the highest quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution: Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the tastes and preferences of our customers.
  • Chef Management: Supervise and train a team of chefs and kitchen staff to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet our high standards.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the ordering and inventory of ingredients and supplies to ensure that we have the necessary resources to meet our menu demands.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that our food meets our high standards and that our kitchen is clean and safe.
  • Team Leadership: Foster a positive and productive team environment by providing guidance, support, and feedback to our kitchen staff.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role or equivalent experience.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with heavy loads, overtime required, physically demanding, repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods, and working under pressure.
