About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Value Liquor Hub. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Cash Register Systems: Accurately process transactions, handle cash, credit, and debit card payments, and maintain a clean and organized cash handling area.
  • Process Transactions: Scan items, receive payment for goods or services, and reconcile daily/shift payments with total sales.
  • Stock and Maintain Store Displays: Restock shelves, clean the counter area, and maintain a visually appealing store environment.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Greet customers, respond to inquiries, and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Participate in Promotional Activities: Engage with customers, promote products, and participate in in-store events and promotions.
  • Verify Customer Age: Verify the age of customers when selling lottery tickets, alcohol, or tobacco products.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a dynamic and fast-paced retail environment with a high volume of customers.
  • Attention to Detail: Maintain accuracy and attention to detail when processing transactions and handling customer inquiries.
  • Physical Demands: Stand for long periods, walk, and move around the store to restock shelves and assist customers.
