Position Summary

We are seeking a Senior Manager to spearhead our Indigenous Services Capital Projects division. This dedicated group collaborates with over 250 Indigenous communities, organizations, and individuals across Canada, driven by a deep respect for their heritage, culture, and contributions to our nation.

As a key advisor, you will leverage your expertise to support Indigenous communities and enterprises in navigating the complexities of a changing social, political, and economic landscape.

With a robust team of over 500 professionals focused on this sector, MNP stands out as a leader in addressing the distinct needs of Indigenous communities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive the delivery of exceptional consulting services, with a focus on capital project strategy, infrastructure enhancement, and contract management.
  • Engage with clients to identify their project goals and obstacles, establishing a foundation for successful outcomes.
  • Pursue strategic business opportunities by developing innovative service delivery models, precise effort assessments, and competitive pricing strategies to secure new projects and provide outstanding value.
  • Craft, develop, and enhance influential reports, proposals, presentations, and communications, offering actionable insights and valuable recommendations that facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Proactively monitor project schedules, making necessary adjustments to ensure alignment with established targets and timelines.
  • Oversee engagement planning, resource allocation, and financial oversight, including budget management, billing, and collections.
  • Identify and manage variances to maintain project integrity and financial viability.
  • Cultivate and mentor your team through effective guidance, clear objectives, constructive feedback, and performance evaluations, promoting both professional and personal development.
  • Enhance MNP's reputation by actively participating in the local professional community and strategically networking to uncover new business development avenues.

Required Qualifications

  • A minimum of seven years of experience in capital project strategy, development, or a related field, with a preference for experience engaging with Indigenous communities or organizations.
  • Proven experience in a consulting or client-focused environment, demonstrating strong project management capabilities.
  • A Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in civil or building engineering, architecture, planning, environmental studies, or a related discipline.
  • Strong leadership, relationship-building, and people management skills.
  • Project management or contract administration certification is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel to client locations as necessary.
