Job Title: Telecommunications Equipment Technician

We are seeking a skilled Telecommunications Equipment Technician to join our team at North Frontenac Telephone Haliburton Corp.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, testing, and maintaining telecommunications equipment, as well as diagnosing and repairing faults. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong technical skills and excellent problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and test telecommunications equipment, including cable signals and associated hardware
  • Diagnose and repair faults in telecommunications equipment, including switching systems and networks
  • Inspect and maintain telecommunications equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Test and analyze telecommunications systems to identify and resolve transmission faults
  • Complete and maintain accurate test and service reports
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in telecommunications equipment installation and maintenance
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of telecommunications systems
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Efficient interpersonal skills and a positive attitude
