Job Title: Director, HSE

At Secure Energy, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) to join our team. This critical role is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive HSE programs, policies, and initiatives that ensure the well-being and protection of our employees.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to our HSE team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Develop and implement effective HSE strategies and initiatives that promote a culture of excellence and compliance.
  • Oversee the development and deployment of HSE training programs, ensuring that all employees have the necessary knowledge and skills to perform their jobs safely.
  • Investigate incidents and near misses, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure that HSE priorities are integrated into business operations and decision-making processes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) designation or other applicable professional designation.
  • 10+ years of experience in a senior HSE role, with a proven track record of driving change and improving HSE performance.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in conducting analysis and reporting statistics, with a working knowledge of safety management systems and safe work practices.
