Floor Covering Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Floor Covering Installer to join our team at A&A Flooring Accessories Ltd. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of floor coverings for our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Surface Preparation: Inspect, measure, and mark surfaces to be covered, ensuring accurate measurements and precise markings.
- Material Handling: Measure, cut, and fasten underlay and underpadding, as well as measure, cut, and install carpeting, resilient floor coverings, and hardwood floors.
- Quality Control: Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings, ensuring a high level of quality and attention to detail.
- Estimation and Planning: Estimate costs and materials, and prepare floors for installations, ensuring timely and efficient completion of projects.
- Removal and Preparation: Remove existing floor coverings and contaminants, and employ knee kickers and other equipment to stretch carpeting.
This role requires a high level of physical fitness, with frequent bending, crouching, and kneeling. You must be able to handle heavy loads and work in a fast-paced environment.
