Job Summary:

The Transportation Operations Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the operational logistics of our organization, ensuring smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, and resolving work problems. This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop specific plans to prioritize tasks and ensure efficient workflow
  • Organize and maintain inventory, and requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed
  • Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments, and conduct performance reviews
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, and maintain accurate records
  • Provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
Requirements:
  • College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Knowledge of dispatch management service software, inventory control software, and human resources software
