Job Title: Transportation Operations Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Transportation Operations Supervisor to join our team at SIDH TRUCK TRANSPORTATION INC. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our transportation services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure efficient operations
  • Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis
  • Ensure the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery
  • Arrange for maintenance and repair work as needed
  • Resolve work problems and provide technical advice to improve productivity and product quality
  • Recruit and hire staff as needed
  • Train workers in duties and policies
  • Conduct performance reviews to ensure staff are meeting expectations
  • Coordinate, assign, and review work to ensure deadlines are met
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed
  • Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient operations
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
Work Environment:

Our team works in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You will be required to work under pressure and handle heavy loads. You will also be required to work in a team environment and have excellent interpersonal skills.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.
