Your Role

Our Vernon office is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Assurance team, taking on the following responsibilities:

  • Prepare year-end engagements and tax filings efficiently for clients across various sectors.
  • Conduct audits and assurance projects for private enterprises and non-profit entities, generating working papers and financial statements in accordance with regulatory standards.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with clients, responding effectively to their requests and suggestions.
  • Engage in business development activities and identify new opportunities with current clients.
  • Communicate regularly with team members regarding progress updates and any arising issues.
  • Participate in training initiatives and contribute to the professional growth of your team.

Your Qualifications
  • You have achieved your CPA designation or are a 2021 CFE candidate.
  • You bring 3 years of audit and assurance experience within the public accounting sector, particularly with ASPE or ASNPO files.
  • You have a passion for working in the private and non-profit sectors and are eager to expand your knowledge in these areas.
  • You value teamwork, client service, and precision in your work.
  • You demonstrate strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication abilities.
Compensation Range: $56,000 - $75,000 annually
