About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Planning Analyst to join our team at Saputo Inc. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in providing financial insights and analysis to support business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform variance analyses and data validation of periodic divisional reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with divisional finance teams to develop and implement financial plans and strategies.
  • Prepare quarterly and annual public financial reports, as well as supporting documentation for senior management.
  • Support the team in preparing financial information for the Management's Discussion and Analysis.
  • Participate in the annual budget process and contribute to the development of financial models and forecasts.
  • Help prepare documentation required for external and internal audits.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives around financial processes and analysis models.
Requirements
  • CPA preferred or CPA candidate having passed CFE.
  • Minimum 1-3 years experience required (firm or industry).
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret and solve problems.
  • Strong accountability and ownership mindset.
  • Strong communication skills in both spoken and written English and French.
  • High degree of accuracy and strong organizational skills.
  • Attitude of continuous improvement.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills with MS Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of SAP and Workiva, an asset.
