Job Description

This role focuses on providing comprehensive financial planning solutions to clients, acting as the primary financial planner in our centralized service and in partnership with Financial Planning Specialists.

What is the opportunity?

As an integral part of the Family Office Service team, the Financial Planning Analyst will provide clients with tailored financial planning advice, analyzing their current situations and developing strategies to achieve their objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare comprehensive personal financial plans, determining clients' objectives, analyzing their current situations, and developing appropriate advice and strategies.
  • Stay current with financial planning standards and practices.
  • Identify opportunities for complementary businesses and solutions.
  • Maintain a high level of partnership and knowledge regarding all of RBC's units.
  • Contribute to the development of our services and provide coaching and training to other professionals in Wealth Management Services.

Requirements:

  • Financial Planner diploma granted by the IQPF.
  • Superior communication skills in English and French, both written and verbal.
  • 5 years of experience in financial planning, with client-facing experience a strong asset.
  • In-depth understanding and knowledge of the Canadian taxation system.
  • Working knowledge of financial planning software (Conquest).
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) and ability to adapt to a fast-changing software.
  • Bilingualism (English and French) required.
