About the Role:
As a pivotal member of the Canadian Banking Branch network, your focus will be on delivering outstanding service throughout the customer journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a designated portfolio of high-value and/or intricate small business owner relationships to ensure retention and meet established goals while adhering to Scotiabank's Service Standards.
- Establish a robust presence within the local business community by fostering relationships with various Centres of Influence.
- Actively engage with both new and existing clients to cultivate strong, ongoing relationships and provide comprehensive guidance, enabling them to build successful enterprises.
- Collaborate with fellow advisors to create a customer-centric environment.
Qualifications:
- You possess a results-driven mindset and have a solid understanding of the small business market, including the features and advantages of small business products and services, as well as financial statements, risk management policies, and legal documentation pertinent to small business offerings.
- You demonstrate exceptional business development skills and are knowledgeable about small business legal structures, life cycles, competitor offerings, and alternative financing sources.
- You exhibit strong organizational abilities and are adaptable to a dynamic environment.
- You are an effective relationship builder and communicator, enjoy networking, and excel in collaboration.
- A background in a business-related field or equivalent experience as a small business owner is preferred.
- A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle are required.
