Small Business Financial Advisor

As a key member of our Canadian Banking Branch network, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our small business clients.
Your key responsibilities will include:
\u2022 Managing an assigned portfolio of high-value and/or complex small business owner relationships to achieve retention and other negotiated goals while meeting Scotiabank's Service Standard
\u2022 Creating a strong presence within the local business community by developing relationships with various Centres of Influence
\u2022 Proactively engaging with new and existing clients to build strong, ongoing relationships and provide comprehensive advice, enabling them to build successful businesses
\u2022 Partnering with fellow advisors to create a customer-centric environment
What you'll need to succeed:
\u2022 A results-oriented attitude and sound knowledge of the small business market, including the features and benefits of small business products and services
\u2022 Excellent business development techniques and a strong understanding of small business legal structures and life cycles
\u2022 Good organizational skills and flexibility to adapt to a constantly changing environment
\u2022 Strong relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with others
\u2022 An education in a business-related discipline or equivalent work experience as a small business owner
\u2022 A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
