Aversan Inc. is a reputable engineering company that provides engineering expertise in the aerospace and defense industries. We are currently seeking a Project Engineer to join our team.

Core Responsibilities:

The Project Engineer will provide scheduling, administrative, and technical support to the project team(s) in order to ensure project deliverables are met.

The Project Engineer job responsibilities may include:

  • Recognizing problems, initiating action, and evaluating results on major issues prior to releasing drawings to the field.
  • Working alongside Project Managers as technical support for their assigned series, providing support in customer communications and needs.
  • Performing risk assessments and supporting the job hazard analysis process and actively participating in and supporting HSE programs and initiatives.
  • Coordinating multi-disciplinary project design deliverables and participating in quality reviews.
  • Scheduling resources for their portion of a project under the guidance of a Supervisor or Manager.
  • Ensuring work quality, safety, and reliability standards are met and maintained.

Project Execution:

The Project Engineer will work in a team environment and actively participate in group meetings safely. They will complete other duties and projects as assigned and ensure scheduled milestones are met. They will also adhere to all program Operating and Implementing Policies and ensure that all business activities are performed with the highest ethical standards and in compliance with the company Conduct Code.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have a University Degree or College Diploma in Engineering and be proficient in Microsoft Project, MS office-based software. They will also have experience working on-site at a Nuclear facility, ideally within MCR, and knowledge of ECC process is an asset.

Experience:

The candidate will have experience in a technical environment on large-scale engineering and construction projects, nuclear required. They will have excellent organizational skills, ability to multi-task, and a firm understanding of core engineering principles, documentation, and processes.
