Culinary Team Member

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Culinary Team Member to join our team at Guac Mexi Grill St Catherines. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food preparation and presentation.
Key Responsibilities- Menu Planning and Execution: Plan and prepare menus that meet the dietary needs of our customers, while also ensuring that our kitchen operations are efficient and effective.
- Food Preparation and Presentation: Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including special meals for patients, and present them in a visually appealing manner.
- Staff Training and Development: Train and supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties effectively.
- Supply Chain Management: Order and manage supplies and equipment to ensure that our kitchen operations are well-stocked and running smoothly.
- Kitchen Operations Management: Supervise and manage kitchen operations to ensure that they are running efficiently and effectively.
- Cleanliness and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, and ensure that all staff members are aware of and follow proper food safety and handling procedures.
- Event Planning and Execution: Plan and execute buffets and banquets, and ensure that they are executed to a high standard.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
- Skills: Attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, client focus, organized, team player, time management
- Work Conditions: 30 hours per week, permanent position
- Language: English
