Research Focus: We are particularly interested in candidates with expertise or a keen interest in areas such as:

  • Holistic watershed management practices
  • Integration of ecohydrology with climate-influenced extreme events

Research in these domains will significantly contribute to the strategic goals of the University, aiming to leverage knowledge for community transformation.

Departmental Context: This role offers a unique opportunity to be part of a growing civil engineering department that emphasizes the societal and environmental impacts of engineering through collaborative research and educational initiatives. Our department provides accredited undergraduate programs in Civil Engineering and Geological Engineering, along with advanced electives and graduate courses in various areas, including water treatment technologies and ecohydraulics.

Qualifications: Applicants should possess a PhD in Civil Engineering or a related discipline, demonstrating a strong potential for excellence in both research and teaching. Candidates must also be eligible and willing to register as a Professional Engineer in New Brunswick.
