About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Residential Construction Supervisor to join our team at Oceanwave Modern Construction. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our residential construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Oversight: Supervise construction workers and projects to ensure timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Coordination and Scheduling: Coordinate and schedule activities to meet project deadlines and budgets.
  • Training and Development: Train or arrange for training to ensure that construction workers have the necessary skills to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Cost Estimation: Estimate costs and materials required for projects to ensure that we stay within budget.
  • Equipment Setup: Set up equipment and tools necessary for construction projects.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Personnel Management: Recommend personnel actions to ensure that our construction team is working effectively.
  • Work Scheduling: Establish methods to meet work schedules and deadlines.
  • Blueprint Reading: Read blueprints and drawings to understand project requirements.
  • Material Requisition: Requisition materials and supplies necessary for construction projects.
  • Work Term and Language: This is a permanent position, and the primary work language is English.
  • Work Hours: The work hours are 40 hours per week.
