Job Title: Mental Health Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health Therapist to join our team at Edgewood Health Network Inc. As a Mental Health Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our clients, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based treatment modalities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions to clients with operational stress injury, post-traumatic stress disorder, and co-occurring mental health and addiction issues.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, coordinating with other healthcare professionals as needed.
  • Conduct assessments, evaluations, and ongoing progress monitoring to ensure optimal client outcomes.
  • Collaborate with referral agencies, families, and other stakeholders to provide comprehensive support and guidance.
  • Document client progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with company standards.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Counselling, Social Work, Psychotherapy, or a related field.
  • Registration in good standing with a relevant professional body (e.g., CCPA, BCACC, CCAC, BCCSW).
  • Experience in a residential mental health and addiction treatment setting is an asset.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and trauma-focused therapies.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
