Job Title: Mental Health Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Therapist to join our team, providing individual and group therapy to clients with operational stress injury, post-traumatic stress disorder, and co-occurring mental health and addiction issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide evidence-based individual and group therapy sessions using modalities such as recovery-oriented cognitive therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and trauma-informed care.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient-centered care plans.
  • Coordinate case management and communication across interprofessional teams, including referrals to community-based services and peer-led recovery programs.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with company standards.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and maintain registration with relevant professional bodies.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in counseling, social work, psychotherapy, or a related field.
  • Registration in good standing with a relevant professional body, such as the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association.
  • Experience working in a residential mental health and addiction treatment setting is an asset.
  • Knowledge of community resources and supports is a strong asset.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams and communicate effectively with clients and families.
