Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Esso. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our retail store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hiring and Training: Recruit, train, and develop a team of retail staff to provide exceptional customer service and meet sales targets.
  • Merchandise Management: Order and manage inventory, ensuring that our store is well-stocked and visually appealing.
  • Scheduling and Operations: Create and manage schedules, oversee store operations, and ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and analyze sales reports, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Customer Service: Resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Inventory Control: Maintain accurate inventory records, identify stock discrepancies, and implement corrective actions.
  • Performance Management: Conduct regular performance reviews, providing feedback and coaching to staff to improve performance.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail management role
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Working Conditions
  • 3-4 people in the team
