About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Carpentry Specialist to join our team at RV REMODELING LTD.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare detailed estimates of labour and material costs for construction projects
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements
  • Design and implement layouts in accordance with building codes, using precision measuring tools
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join various materials, including wood, wood substitutes, and lightweight steel
  • Construct foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
  • Fabricate and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
  • Coordinate and supervise work on construction sites
  • Estimate costs and materials for projects
  • Maintain, repair, and renovate residential and commercial structures
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work in a fast-paced construction environment with tight deadlines
  • Perform physically demanding tasks, including bending, crouching, and handling heavy loads
  • Work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the carpentry trade
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a team environment
  • Reliability and punctuality
