Sprott Shaw College is looking for committed Mobile Nursing Support Specialists (LPN or RN) to enhance our nursing and care teams by providing essential education and assistance. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Director of Quality Assurance to uphold the highest standards of care for our residents across various facilities in British Columbia.
Position Overview:- Location: Travel to multiple healthcare sites across British Columbia
- Employment Type: Full-time, permanent role
- Shifts: Flexible hours between 7am-7pm
- Compensation: Competitive salary package
- Completion of a recognized nursing program
- Current registration with the BCCNM as an LPN or RN
- Valid Occupational First Aid Level 1 and CPR A certifications
- Experience with RAI MDS Education in Gold Care or Point Click Care
- Strong communication skills in English, both spoken and written
- At least 2 years of experience in Gerontology
- In-depth knowledge of geriatrics and chronic illness management
- Experience in assessing and planning for clients with complex geriatric needs
- Provide guidance and support to nursing and care personnel
- Engage in educational programs and quality enhancement initiatives
- Design and deliver internal training across various facilities
- Mentor and coach staff to align with organizational goals
- Conduct audits and quality assurance assessments
- Assist in the creation of documentation and reporting systems
