Mobile Nursing Support Specialist - British Columbia

Position Overview:
  • Location: Travel to multiple healthcare sites across British Columbia
  • Employment Type: Full-time, permanent role
  • Shifts: Flexible hours between 7am-7pm
  • Compensation: Competitive salary package
Qualifications:
  • Completion of a recognized nursing program
  • Current registration with the BCCNM as an LPN or RN
  • Valid Occupational First Aid Level 1 and CPR A certifications
  • Experience with RAI MDS Education in Gold Care or Point Click Care
  • Strong communication skills in English, both spoken and written
Preferred Skills:
  • At least 2 years of experience in Gerontology
  • In-depth knowledge of geriatrics and chronic illness management
  • Experience in assessing and planning for clients with complex geriatric needs
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide guidance and support to nursing and care personnel
  • Engage in educational programs and quality enhancement initiatives
  • Design and deliver internal training across various facilities
  • Mentor and coach staff to align with organizational goals
  • Conduct audits and quality assurance assessments
  • Assist in the creation of documentation and reporting systems
