About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team at A Plus Concrete Pumping Ltd. As a Concrete Finisher, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finish on our concrete surfaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement to achieve a smooth and even finish.
  • Level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification to ensure accuracy and precision.
  • Impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools, such as trowels and screeds.
  • Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures to secure and support concrete structures.
  • Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces and prevent damage.
  • Repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures to maintain their integrity.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to understand project requirements and ensure compliance.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • This role requires working in a physically demanding environment, with exposure to dust, noise, and wet/damp conditions.
  • You will be required to work outdoors and may be exposed to extreme temperatures.
Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Permanent employment with a regular 35 to 40 hour workweek.
  • English language proficiency.
