Afternoon Shift Operations Lead

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Afternoon Shift Operations Lead to oversee plant operations during the afternoon shift at our Niagara Falls facility. This role involves managing production, logistics, and maintenance activities while ensuring compliance with all policies and regulations.
Responsibilities- Coordinate and schedule plant activities in a safe and efficient manner, optimizing production, cleanup, and maintenance operations.
- Lead a team of employees in performing maintenance repairs and activities, ensuring adherence to safety procedures.
- Perform maintenance repairs and operate equipment as needed, contributing to the smooth functioning of the plant.
- Monitor and manage budgetary targets, ensuring efficient resource allocation and cost control.
- Maintain a safe and compliant work environment by enforcing health and safety regulations and promoting best practices among team members.
- 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Proven experience in equipment maintenance, repair, and operation, including welding skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team.
- Comprehensive knowledge of safety procedures and regulations relevant to the waste management industry.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
