Workflow Consultant - Technology Services

Permanent Full Time

The Workflow Consultant collaborates with both internal and external partners to implement, enhance, support, and sustain the non-clinical systems, processes, and integrations for the organization. This role is pivotal in driving system and process innovations, integrating non-clinical systems, and ensuring exemplary customer service support.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and analyze business requirements, engage with vendors and stakeholders across various departments, and determine the specifications for developing system solutions aimed at automating, refining, or establishing business processes and/or new systems.

• Spearhead stakeholder engagement, troubleshoot system issues, manage changes, oversee patching, configuration, release documentation, and process mapping related to non-clinical systems.

• Organize and facilitate user training sessions; create and revise user documentation, guides, manuals, and instructional materials for users and application support.

• Develop and maintain test scripts and lead testing initiatives.

• Promote a culture of cross-training and actively share knowledge to support the organization's skill development.

• Drive the adoption of process modifications and new systems by involving key users and stakeholders in communication and engagement strategies.

• Provide leadership, mentorship, and support for the implementation of operational and strategic plans concerning non-clinical systems.

• Prepare status reports, presentations, and other documentation; participate in committees and meetings.

• Perform additional duties as required.

Required Qualifications

• A university degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field with equivalent education and experience.

• A minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in Information Technology.

Preferred Skills

• Extensive experience with Finance and HR systems and advanced integrations.

• Proven experience managing large-scale projects while addressing daily operational requests from the business.

• Strong ability to identify and communicate requirements, resolve issues effectively, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

• Analytical thinking skills to tackle complex problems and provide innovative solutions that enhance quality and improve work processes.

• Proficient in project management and process mapping, with comprehensive knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.

• Excellent prioritization, planning, analytical, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

• Solid understanding of risk management, privacy, e-safety, and quality assurance methodologies as they relate to integration/software engineering.

• Highly self-motivated with strong attention to detail.

• A proven record of attendance.

• Understanding and compliance with patient and staff safety policies that foster a safe and inclusive environment for all.

• Ability to perform essential job duties effectively.

• Demonstrates empathy in interactions with others.
