Workflow Consultant - Technology Services
Permanent Full Time Position
The Workflow Consultant collaborates with both internal and external partners to implement, enhance, support, and sustain the non-clinical systems, processes, and integrations for the healthcare facilities. This role is essential in driving system and process advancements, executing and integrating non-clinical systems, and ensuring exemplary customer service support.
Key Responsibilities Include:
• Assess and analyze business requirements, liaise with vendors and stakeholders across various departments, and pinpoint needs for developing system solutions aimed at automating, refining, or establishing business processes and/or new systems.
• Spearhead stakeholder engagement, troubleshoot system issues, manage changes, oversee patching, configuration, release documentation, and process mapping, while addressing all aspects related to non-clinical systems.
• Organize and deliver user training sessions; create and update user documentation, written instructions, training guides, manuals, and resources for users and application support.
• Develop and maintain test scripts and lead testing initiatives.
• Promote a culture of cross-training and actively share knowledge to support the organization's skill development.
• Facilitate the adoption of process modifications and new systems by engaging key users and stakeholders in communication and engagement planning.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and support for the implementation of operational and strategic plans concerning non-clinical systems.
• Prepare status reports, presentations, and other documentation; participate in committees and meetings.
• Perform additional duties as necessary.
Required Qualifications:
• A university degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a comparable combination of education and experience.
• A minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in Information Technology.
Preferred Skills:
• Extensive experience with Finance and HR systems and advanced integrations.
• Proven experience managing large-scale projects while addressing daily operational requests from the business.
• Strong ability to identify and communicate requirements, resolve issues effectively, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Analytical thinking skills to tackle complex problems and provide innovative solutions that enhance quality and improve work processes.
• Proficient in project management and process mapping, with comprehensive knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
• Excellent prioritization, planning, analytical, presentation, people management, and relationship-building skills.
• Solid understanding of risk management, privacy, e-safety, and quality assurance methodologies related to integration/software engineering.
• Highly self-motivated and detail-oriented.
• Consistent attendance record.
• Commitment to understanding and adhering to patient and staff safety policies and procedures that promote a safe and inclusive environment for all.
• Ability to fulfill the essential duties of the position.
