Position Overview

Join a forward-thinking organization as a vital member of the production management team. The Electro-mechanical Assembly Production Supervisor will play a crucial role in orchestrating and directing team efforts to fulfill customer expectations regarding quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee, coordinate, and schedule the daily activities of team members to ensure that safety, quality, and production objectives are consistently met.
  • Develop strategies to achieve production timelines and collaborate with other departments to streamline operations.
  • Address production challenges and propose solutions to enhance efficiency.
  • Order necessary materials and supplies as required.
  • Ensure that assembly lines and work centers are adequately supplied with parts and materials.
  • Provide training to staff on job responsibilities, safety protocols, and company guidelines.
  • Optimize production scheduling flexibility through effective resource management and allocation.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and advocate for lean manufacturing practices.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
  • Monitor and report on production KPIs related to quality, safety, and productivity as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of experience in a comparable role within a manufacturing setting, ideally in a custom contract manufacturing environment.
  • Completion of Grade 12; post-secondary education in a relevant field is an asset.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience.
  • Familiarity with ISO Quality systems.
  • A collaborative team player with strong communication skills across all organizational levels.
  • Proficient computer skills; experience with SAP Business One is advantageous.
  • Extensive knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Able to prioritize effectively and adapt to shifting priorities.
