Job Title: Mechanical Assembler

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to join our manufacturing team in Guelph, ON. As a Mechanical Assembler, you will play a critical role in the safe and efficient assembly of our industrial water systems.

Job Responsibilities
  • Assemble equipment according to quality systems and specifications
  • Operate a variety of machinery, including welding machines, torches, pipe/conduit/tube benders, grinders, drills, etc.
  • Fabricate, assemble, and hydro-test PVC, PP, and PVDF pipe spool
  • Perform self-inspection to verify that all components are installed, tested, and match applicable drawings
  • Package all equipment to meet shipping requirements
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve manufacturing goals
Requirements
  • Ability to assemble equipment to assembly process drawings
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and proficiency in understanding basic pipe and skid layout and assembly
  • Demonstrated high-quality work, initiative, and ability to work unsupervised at times
  • Ability to work well in a team and assist with training peers/contractors
  • Experience in PVC pipe welding and structural welding an asset
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time, lift 50lbs, and walk, bend, and climb stairs on a frequent basis
