Join a pioneering organization as a vital member of the production leadership team. The Electro-mechanical Assembly Production Supervisor will play a crucial role in orchestrating and managing team efforts to fulfill customer expectations regarding quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee, coordinate, and schedule the daily activities of team members to ensure safety, quality, and production goals are consistently met.
- Develop strategies to achieve production timelines and collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Address production challenges and propose enhancements to boost efficiency.
- Order necessary materials and supplies as required.
- Guarantee that assembly lines and workstations are adequately supplied with parts and materials.
- Provide training to staff on job responsibilities, safety protocols, and company regulations.
- Optimize production scheduling flexibility through effective resource management and allocation.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and advocate for lean manufacturing practices.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Monitor and report on production KPIs related to quality, safety, and efficiency as applicable.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- 3-5 years of experience in a comparable role within a manufacturing setting, ideally in a custom contract manufacturing environment.
- Completion of Grade 12; post-secondary education in a relevant field is an asset.
- Demonstrated leadership experience.
- Familiarity with ISO Quality systems.
- A collaborative team player with strong communication skills across all organizational levels.
- Proficient computer skills; experience with SAP Business One is advantageous.
- Extensive knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Able to prioritize effectively and adapt to shifting priorities.
