Position Details
Status: Full-Time, Permanent
Compensation: Acera's comprehensive compensation package is performance-based, recognizing outstanding individual and company achievements. The typical salary range for this role is from $40,000 - $55,000 CAD annually, plus quarterly incentives; compensation will vary based on experience, education, and internal equity.
Role Overview
We are seeking a full-time Personal Insurance Consultant to join our team. The Consultant collaborates with clients, insurance providers, and Acera Insurance colleagues to exceed client expectations. This role involves advising, explaining, promoting, and selling home and personal insurance policies to ensure clients are adequately protected.
Key Responsibilities:
Primary duties include, but are not limited to:
Managing renewals, endorsements, cancellations, and servicing new inquiries. Updating and maintaining automated documentation for new business, endorsements, renewals, and claims. Promoting and recommending optimal coverage and additional products. Efficiently collecting payments from clients. Providing support to front desk operations as needed. Delivering an exceptional client service experience. Reviewing existing client policies and marketing as necessary.Qualifications and Skills:
Level 1 BC General Insurance License. Previous experience in the insurance sector. Familiarity with Broker Management Systems, various company portals, and Microsoft Office applications. Client-focused approach. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Exceptional organizational abilities with the capacity to work under pressure. Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients and insurance providers.
