Job Title: Corporate Travel Coordinator

Job Summary:

The Canadian Commercial Corporation (CCC) is seeking a highly skilled Corporate Travel Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our Business Development and Marketing Units, you will be responsible for coordinating domestic and international travel arrangements for our Vice-President and Business Development Account Directors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate travel arrangements, including flights, accommodations, and transportation, while ensuring business requirements and cultural considerations are met.
  • Anticipate and meet the needs of the Vice-President by monitoring travel workflows and utilizing a bring-forward system.
  • Process, submit, and track travel-specific expenses on behalf of the Vice-President, ensuring deadlines and financial requirements are met.
  • Assist Business Development Account Directors with their travel arrangements and ensure their expense claims are processed and tracked on time.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the Division's business units and activities.
  • Negotiate cost-effective travel arrangements with airlines, travel agencies, hotels, and car rental companies.
  • Provide timely reporting on KPIs, spendings, savings, and other travel and expense metrics.
  • Maintain effective working relationships and coordinate linkages with the President's Office, Directors, and staff.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education in a related field or an acceptable combination of education, training, and/or related work experience.
  • At least 5 years of Global and/or Corporate Travel Coordinator experience, including assisting a Vice-President or executive-level individual in managing travel and related expenditures.
  • Bilingual (English/French) imperative.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
  • In-depth knowledge of industry-leading travel and corporate expense systems.
  • Experience in coordinating domestic and/or international travel and travel-related expenditures for executives.
  • Advanced knowledge of matters relating to senior management or executive committees.
  • Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
