Job Summary

We are looking for a seasoned Project Manager to join our team and lead projects that align with our business objectives. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of project management principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to tailor methodologies to meet project and stakeholder needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage projects of varying size and complexity, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project schedules and budgets.
  • Develop project plans that incorporate elements from both Agile and Waterfall methodologies, adapting project management methodologies to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, and ensure effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate quality assurance testing and post-implementation reviews to assess success levels and gather feedback.
  • Apply best practices and recommend process improvements to ensure business objectives are met.
  • Balance flexibility with structured planning to ensure project success.
  • Partner with internal departments to gain understanding of processes, policies, and requirements for each project.
  • Research project needs and requirements, and coordinate with third-party vendors as needed.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in a relevant field.
  • At least 5 years of related experience in project management.
  • Thorough understanding of varying project management methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Designation is preferred.
  • Prior financial services experience is an asset.
