Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cook to join our team at Lee's Overseas Delights. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, as well as supervising kitchen staff and maintaining inventory and records.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes, adhering to high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, providing guidance and training as needed.
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas, ensuring cleanliness and adherence to health and safety standards.
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Order supplies and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and effective use.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on teamwork and customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to train and motivate staff.
  • Strong attention to detail, with a focus on quality and presentation.
