About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Riyasat Indian Restaurant & Bar Canada Inc. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen and ensuring that our high standards of quality and service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Preparation: Develop and implement new menu ideas, ensuring that they are innovative, delicious, and meet the tastes of our diverse customer base.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and train kitchen staff, including cooks, sous chefs, and kitchen assistants, to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the ordering and inventory of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet our culinary needs.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks to ensure that all dishes meet our high standards of taste, presentation, and safety.
  • Cleanliness and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations and guidelines.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that our customers have a positive dining experience and are satisfied with their meals.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role, or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
