Responsibilities:

* Advise customers on the selection and use of non-prescription medications
* Check prescriptions for proper dosage and ensure accurate medication profiles
* Compound prescribed pharmaceutical products with precision and attention to detail
* Maintain accurate records of medication profiles, including registry of poisons and narcotic and controlled drugs
* Supervise and coordinate the activities of other pharmacists, pharmacy assistants, and technicians

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
* Certification for drug administration by injection and intranasal route
* Pharmacy Examining Boards of Canada Certification
* Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities
* Basic security clearance and criminal record check
* Eligible for professional liability insurance
