Job Title: Community Pharmacist

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Community Pharmacist to join our team at HWP Rx Health-Med Pharmacy. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the safe and effective use of medications.

Job Summary:

The Community Pharmacist will be responsible for:

  • Providing expert advice to customers on the selection and use of non-prescription medications
  • Checking prescriptions for proper dosage and ensuring accurate medication profiles
  • Compounding prescribed pharmaceutical products with precision and attention to detail
  • Maintaining accurate records of medication profiles, including registry of poisons and narcotic and controlled drugs
  • Supervising and coordinating the activities of pharmacy staff, including pharmacists, pharmacy assistants, and technicians
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
  • Pharmacy Examining Boards of Canada Certification
  • Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities
  • Basic security clearance and a criminal record check
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail
